How can we educate our children about peace? Unfortunately, many have never had the opportunity to receive formal peace education—learning what peace is, how to achieve it, and the benefits it brings. What if there were a positive example of successfully attaining peace and a practical curriculum for peace education?

Chairman Lee Man-hee of HWPL is dedicated to achieving world peace through various initiatives. Among them, HWPL is actively promoting peace education globally. This form of education allows us to pass on the legacy of peace, instilling values in future generations. The vision of HWPL Peace Education is for students to realize the value of peace and propagate a culture of peace.

The curriculum comprises 12 subjects divided into two sections. Lessons 1 to 4 focus on teaching students the meaning and value of peace, while lessons 5 to 12 guide students on becoming peace citizens. This curriculum aids students in recognizing the value of peace through historical events and recent precedents.
