Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the HWPL World Peace Summit

On September 18, 2024, we commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the HWPL World Peace Summit with events held across 122 countries, including South Korea. This year’s theme, “Creating World Peace Community Through Regional Collaboration,” highlights our decade-long efforts to foster peace through regional partnerships. In South Korea, activities will take place in 18 major cities, bringing together tens of thousands of participants to promote harmony and conflict resolution.

The HWPL World Peace Summit, first held in Seoul in 2014, has been a pivotal platform for discussing and advancing peace. Over 1,000 global leaders gathered to address issues such as dispute resolution and religious harmony. HWPL Chairman Lee Man-hee’s powerful message at the inaugural summit emphasized the need for lasting peace beyond mere discussions. As we mark this milestone, the focus will be on reviewing progress and strategizing future peace-building efforts.
