HWPL's 9th Annual Commemoration of the Declaration of World Peace will be held online on 25 May 2022! 👏
This commemoration was planned to remember the spirit instilled in the DPCW proclaimed before the World Peace Gate in Seoul, South Korea, on 25 May 2013, and the meaning behind the civil society-led Peace Walks held worldwide, and to reinforce the solidarity among civil societies amid many challenges the world faces.

3,000 participants from politics, religion, academia, and media joined in this event and 730,000 citizens from 176 countries have signed in support of the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW). The DPCW was conceived by HWPL Chairman Lee, a 92-year-old Korean War veteran who has embarked on 31 peace tours to garner support for the DPCW from politicians, Heads of State, religious leaders, academics and youth. I truly believe that the DPCW will permanently cease the cruelty of war. No mother should lose her son to war. Please support it.
